Hi all,
Just a reminder that lessons start next week on January 2nd. Here are the tentative dates for this semester. Please let me know if there are any conflicts with this as soon as possible.
Breathe Piano tentative Schedule Spring 2012
Mar 10th Group Lesson
May 19th End of Year Recital
June 2nd – Summer Lessons Begin
Times for all of the above will be determined as we figure out what works best for everyone.
The rates for this semester are:
$17.50 – 30 min.
$27.50 – 45 min.
$35.00 – 60 min.
I’m trying out a new payment scheme this year. Fees can be paid monthly or by semester: Either way you must pay for the time slot for a full semester. If you miss a lesson we will do our best to make it up, but you must pay for all lessons including any missed. To provide a little flexibility, you will not be charged for one of the lessons. So if you come to all of your lessons, you will get one free.
Semester fees:
$735 60 min
$551.25 45 min
$367.50 30 min
Monthly fees:
$147 60 min
$110.25 45 min
$73.50 30 min
If you have any questions or concerns about any of the above, feel free to send an email to brad@breathepiano.com. There is a lot going on and I’m sure I will be changing even more as we move forward together.
So that’s it! Looking forward to seeing you all again, here’s to another great semester!
~ Brad
It has been quite an eventful month! We have gone through the last of the spring lessons, and the end of year recital is now over. I would like to thank Tahan Burnham and Ethan Spracklen for playing in my senior recital. The two of you did a wonderful job and everyone loved it. For those who attended my recital, or in any other way showed support for me, thank you. You are all too kind to me.
The student recital I held at the end of the year went very well! Now that I have graduated I am missing all of you. For those of you who have yet to compete in Guild next week, good luck! I know you’ll all do the best that you can.
While most of you are on summer break, I am working hard to start my own studio, and to build my presence in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I’m looking forward to meeting new students, and I hope that they are as much fun to teach as you all were! Speaking of which, for those of you who gave me testimonials, whether by camera or even some right here on the blog, thank you. It means a lot to me to know you guys have loved being taught as much as I loved teaching you.
Happy summer, and don’t forget to keep practicing!
Guild is coming up! For those of you who aren’t familiar with Guild, it is a piano competition, that is judged, and my students get to participate in it! Based on how they do, and what level/songs they choose to play in, they will be awarded a certificate, and given a score that will hopefully help our studio become more aware of our strengths, and areas we can grow in. You can check more about it here: www.pianoguild.com.
If you are interested in guild, please comment below on what pieces you will be playing this coming semester by February 5th! I’m excited for you all to participate. We will be talking more about this in your lessons next week.
